Terms and Conditions

By visiting or using the Services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop accessing the Services and must not use the App.

Through the Services, we enable and facilitate:

• Donors making monetary contributions to the Trust to support campaigns in which beneficiaries seek help
• Trusts raising donations from donors to support those campaigns
• Marketing and outreach for those campaigns
• Procurement and delivery of selected materials to be donated to campaigns
• Trusts identifying beneficiaries who wish to run campaigns to raise donations-in-kind

The Services include the App and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) tags, which are distributed to identified needy people. Donors can use the App to locate these people and donate items to them.

The App is not intended for users under 13, and they should not create accounts. A child under 13 may receive a tag only with the consent of their parent or guardian, which our team obtains before registering the child.

• You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate, and you can review, correct or update it at any time.
• You must not share your username, password or other security information for your account or device with anyone.
• If we receive instructions through your account or device, we will treat them as authorized by you.
• We may delete your account if the information about you is inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant for legitimate purposes, or if it is being processed in a way that infringes any applicable legal requirement.

To delete your account, follow the steps in our Privacy Policy.

When you provide content covered by intellectual property rights, such as photos and videos, you grant Equibillion Trust a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that content.

This license ends when you delete the content or your account, unless the content has been shared with others and they have not deleted it. Removed content may remain in backup copies for a reasonable period, but it will not be available to others.

You are responsible for what you post or share. If you share information in public areas of the App, or with any other person, it may be collected and used by others over whom we have no control, and we are not responsible for that use.

• Donors and institutions permit Donate Tags to share their personal information, such as name, email address, contact information and location, with the respective donors and beneficiaries of donations made through Donate Tags.
• You give Donate Tags permission to contact you by WhatsApp, email, SMS and other modes of communication.

You must not use the Services for illegal activities or fraud, or in a way that threatens the physical safety of any person or property, or harms the rights or property of the App, its owners or its other users.

We may use or disclose your information to investigate, prevent or act on these activities, to respond to legal processes such as summons and court orders, to establish or exercise our legal rights, or to defend against legal claims.

The App may contain links to other websites. We have no control over those websites and bear no responsibility for them, and their policies may differ from ours. We encourage you to read their privacy policies. We are not liable for any breach of your privacy or any loss arising from your use of those websites or services.

We use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, but we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We take necessary and reasonable steps to keep the App free of malware, but we do not represent that it is completely free of viruses, spyware or other harmful software, which may be placed on the App without our knowledge.

You also play a key role in keeping your information secure, and we recommend that you do not use unsecured Wi-Fi or other unprotected networks to submit messages through the App.

We are not liable for any damage, loss or exposure caused to information we collect, or for disclosure of your information due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third-party access, or other causes beyond our control.

We may update, change or modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect from the time they are published on this page. Please review these Terms from time to time. If you continue to use the App or Services after a change, you are treated as having accepted it.

These Terms are governed by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, or such similar laws of India which are not in conflict with each other, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mumbai, India.
